Cafe Brucke

STAMMTISCH
In Germany, the Stammtisch (family “roots” table) is traditionally reserved for regular patrons of the “Gasthaus”. At Café Brucke's Stammtisch we encourage a “salon” experience but also welcome newcomers who desire the group table for interesting conversation. Café Brucke Stammtisch …; call ahead to reserve for groups up to six. Prost!

SMOKE-FREE

  • Smoke-free/television-free
  • Proper beer storage & service including immaculately clean beer lines & glassware
  • A properly melded sensory experience created by:
A tastefully decorated space with rotating local art & quirky personal artifacts
Properly served coffees by local roaster, Anodyne Coffee Roasting
    Creative wine & spirits menu
European café-inspired food that partners well with the beverages
    Weekly live acoustic music

The name “Brucke” was selected by owner/spouses Christine “Lovie” Lorch & Jerry “Buckets” Patzwald as an homage to the core group of German Expressionist artists of the same name. As Expressionism “bridged” art eras, it is hoped that Café Brucke will be a bridge for Milwaukeeans from “all walks of life” who desire a creative, comfortable & conversational environment.
